We don’t want to think about it. But let’s face it: we will grow old.

Over the next 30 years, the population over 75 in the UK is projected to double. More than ever, it’s essential that we work to improve the experience of older people in our care homes.

The Usher Institute have a vision to change realities and perceptions of the care of frail older people in care homes, through the establishment of a teaching and research-based care home.

The steering group commissioned Stampede to produce a short film that would outline this vision for prospective investors and policymakers.

Care was taken to establish the right visual style. The characters are proportioned stylistically, while retaining a playful feeling, to counteract the heavier themes of the piece.
